Why goats milk?

Educating consumers about natural skincare is important to us. When people tell me the Lavender bar helped soothe their eczema, or their teenager’s face cleared up after using our Tea Tree Detox bar, it humbles me to the core. Even when folks with normal skin use our products and say they will never go back to storebought.

I also try to educate people on the negative effects of sulfates in skin care products. Frankly, they’re everywhere, from soap to shampoo. SLS (sodium laureth sulfate) is one of the worst culprits. This detergent is used as a surfactant to create lather and bubbles and strips your skin of moisture. Our lather comes from the cream in goats milk and the oils and butters we put into our products.

Here are some other benefits of goats milk products:

ALPHA-HYDROXY ACIDS help remove dead skin cells, leaving the surface of your skin smoother and younger looking.

VITAMINS AND MINERALS: Goat milk contains many vitamins and minerals, including amino acids, antioxidants and enzymes. It it is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue. It can also help reduce fine lines, control breakouts and provide relief for eczema and psoriasis. And unlike soaps made with water as their liquid, goats milk contains selenium, which scientists have found plays an important role in preventing skin cancer.

CREAM: Fat molecules in goats milk boost the moisturizing quality of soap and skincare products. Milk proteins also possess amazing anti-microbial properties.
